The Illinois Workers Compensation rules and laws changed January 1, 2208 and there are still a large percentage of contractors that do not know or understand these changes concerning Subcontractors.

The Commercial Insurance Market has continues to be a "soft" market.   

According to a leading insurance exchange in October 2009 the commercial insurance market was rated as soft recording an industry average -5% rate decease in commercial insurance premiums.  However, slight increases have been occurring in Workers Compensation policies and regional variations apply.  Also, it is becoming more common for premium decreases to apply only to insured's that are claim free.

Since January 2007, Jeff has been a faculaty member of Boston University and has served as a "Facilitator" for the Boston University online Masters Level Management Program. 

As a "Facilitator" Jeff helps teach students Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Management courses as they worked toward their Masters degree.
